About the Course
This course focuses on a brief overview of the inspection terminology, definitions and examples of quality defects and condition defects, sampling procedures, cutting methods and reporting results. An in depth overview of E.U grade standards and tolerances for each commodity (based on UNECE/OCED standards) will be covered. An introduction to Good agricultural Practices, Postharvest good handling and produce food safety will be discussed.
